콜랩은 다양한 분야의 예술가들 간의 공개적인 만남이 잇따른 [1]후 결성된 뉴욕시 예술가 그룹 콜라보레이션 프로젝트(Colaborative Projects)의 약칭이다.[2][3]

역사

콜라브 회원들은 1977년 그린 코퍼레이션이라는 이름을 처음 사용하면서 [4]단체로 모였고, 처음에는 1974년 결성된 소규모 비영리 단체인 뉴아트 활동 센터(Center for New Art Activities, Inc.)를 통해 국립 예술 기부금(NEA) 워크숍 보조금을 받았다. 1978년, Collaborative Projects는 자체 수익으로 통합되었다. 콜랩은 자체적인 자금원을 조달함으로써 자체 전시회와 케이블 TV 쇼를 통제하게 되었다.[5][1]: 9–11

프로젝트
