코이 칼리지(Coe College)는 아이오와 주 시더 래피즈(Ceder Rapids)에 있는 사립 교양 대학이다. 1851년에 설립된 이 기관은 역사적으로 장로회(미국)에 소속되어 있다. 중서부와 장로회 연합대학의 회원이다.

역사

Coe College는 1851년 Rev에 의해 설립되었다. 윌리스턴 존스는 예언자 학교다.[4][5] 존스는 동양의 교회들을 돌아다니며 학생들이 동양의 세미나에 참석할 수 있도록 돈을 모금하던 중 다니엘 코라는 이름의 농부를 만났는데, 그는 1,500달러를 기부하고 시더 래피스에 대학을 열도록 존스를 격려했다. coe의 선물은 대학이 남녀 모두에게 교육을 실시해야 한다는 조항과 함께 나왔고, 시더래피드스 캠퍼스가 시더래피드스 콜리지아테스티튜트로 문을 열자 공동교육기관으로 설립됐다.[4] 1875년 Coe College Institute로 다시 설립되었고, 1881년 T로부터 개인적으로 기부한 후 다시 설립되었다.싱클레어 육류 포장 회사의 설립자인 엠 싱클레어가 마침내 코에 칼리지로 설립되었다.

학문

The groups, all of which are chapters of national organizations, include fraternities Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Kappa Tau, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Phi Beta Sigma, Tau Kappa Epsilon, and Sigma Lambda Beta; and sororities Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Sigma Alpha, Delta Delta Delta, Alpha Gamma Delta, Zeta Phi Beta, and Sigma Lambda Gamma.[7]

글쓰기 센터
