CLCN(Capital Library)으로 [2]줄인 중국 수도 도서관으로도 알려진 수도 도서관(간체 중국어: 首都书馆; 전통 중국어: 首都書館)은 차오양 구에 위치한 베이징에서 가장 큰 공공 도서관이다.[3]이 도서관은 중국 오페라, 클래식, 연극, 연극의 소장품으로 유명하다.[5]
2013년 11월 1일 중국 국립도서관이 정부의 압력에 굴복한 후, 수도도서관은 호주 역사학자 로스 테릴의 강연을 받아들였는데,[6] 그는 '전기작가의 눈에는 마오쩌둥:그의 인생, 인격, 이념"이라고 말했다.[7]
역사
루쉰이 1913년 설립한 캐피탈 도서관은 1913년 6월, 1913년 10월, 1917년 8월에 각각 설립된 캐피탈 북스 지부, 캐피탈 대중 도서관, 중앙 공원 도서관 독서 사무소가 합병하면서 발전했다.[8][9]
북방원정대혁명 이후 이들 3개 도서관은 여러 차례 명칭을 변경하고 통폐합하여 북경시립 제1호 도서관으로 변경하였으며, 1949년 8월 베이징시립도서관으로 명칭을 변경하였으며,[10] 1956년 10월 수도도서관에 정식 명칭을 부여하였다.[11]
