쿠루체메는 터키 이스탄불의 베지크타시 일체(지구)에 있는 동네다.오르타코예와 아르나부트코예의 이웃사이의 보스포러스의 유럽 쪽에 있다.[1]

역사적으로 이 동네는 비티아스나 바이티아스,[2][3] 칼라모스, 아모폴로스,[4] 바이타리아 등 다양한 이름으로 불렸다.그것은 고대 트라이스에 위치했고 로마 시대를 거치며 살았다.현재의 이름은 오스만 술탄 메흐메드 2세(재칭 1444–1446, 1451–1481)의 테즈키르 최고 시인 오스만 에펜디가 지은 15세기 모스크의 역사적 분수를 가리키며 말 그대로 '건조된 분수'[1]라는 뜻이다.

쿠루셰메의 인구는 3,123명이다.유명한 콘서트 장소인 투르크셀 쿠루체메 아레나는 2020년 개장으로 현재 만다린 오리엔탈 호텔인 [4]쿠루체메에 위치해 있었다.[5][6][7]쿠루셰메에 있는 세밀 토푸즐루 공원은 매년 열리는 보스포루스 크로스 컨티넨탈 수영의 결승점이다.[8]
