불루의 샤이어(/ˈbʊluː/BUUL-oo)는 오스트레일리아 사우스웨스트 퀸즐랜드에 있는 지방 정부 지역이다.

2020년 4월 17일 퀸즐랜드 정부는 샤이어의 9개 지역을 재편성하여 다음과 같은 변경을 함으로써 6개 지역을 발생시켰다.[2][3][4]

더럼과 헝거포드의 지역에는 아무런 변화도 없었다.[2][3][4]

지리

샤이어는 뉴사우스웨일스, 퀸즐랜드, 사우스오스트레일리아가 만나는 곳에 위치해 있다. 샤이어의 남쪽 서쪽 모퉁이에 있는 카메론 코너는 세 주 모두의 경계선에 있는 지점이다. 불루 샤이어는 7만3724㎢(2만8465평방미터)의 면적을 차지하고 있으며 행정 중심지는 타르고민다 마을이다.

샤이어의 주요 산업으로는 양모, 쇠고기, 오팔, 석유, 천연가스 등이 있다.

파루 사단은 1879년 11월 11일 사단법(Divisional Boards Act 1879년 제정)에 따라 선포된 원래 사단의 하나로 설립되었다.[5][6] 1880년 6월 3일 파루 사단의 서부를 분리하여 불루 사단을 창설하였다.[7]

1883년 6월 21일, 디아만티나 사단과 불루 사단의 경계선이 조정되었다. [8][9]

1902년 지방 당국법이 통과되면서 1903년 3월 31일 불루 사단은 불루의 샤이어가 되었다.[10]

1930년 7월 17일 불루 샤이어는 폐지되어 퀼피 샤이어에 흡수되었다가 1931년 7월 4일 다시 발기되었다.[10]
