보스턴 스파 아카데미(Boston Spa Academy, 구 보스턴 스파 종합학교)는 영국 웨스트요크셔 주 보스턴 스파의 클리포드 무어 로드(Clifford Moor Road)에 있는 11~19세의 학생들을 위한 남녀공학 중등학교다. 이 지역의 다른 중등학교보다 규모가 크며, 6기 350명을 포함하여 1500명의 학생이 롤링하고 있다. 보스턴 스파와 인근 웨더비 고등학교는 넓은 유역 구역을 가지고 있으며 리즈 북부와 동부의 많은 지역에서 학생들을 데려온다.최근 몇 년 동안, 보스턴 스파 아카데미에 다니는 학생들의 비율이 현저히 증가했는데, 이는 보스턴 스파 아카데미에 이어 학교의 명성이 향상되었기 때문이다. 2019년 보스턴 스파는 전국 상위 5% 학교에, 6번째 형태는 전국에서 가장 높은 250개 공연 사업자에 배치되었다.

역사

그 학교는 하이 스트리트에 있는 마을 중등학교로부터 발전했다. 1973년 개교하였다. 리즈 유나이티드 AFC와 같은 기관의 외부 지원을 받아 2000년에 스포츠 전문대학이 되었다. 리즈 유나이티드 남녀 학원과의 파트너십을 이끌어냈다. 2017년 보스턴 스파 학교는 보스턴 스파 아카데미가 되었다. 학교의 사명선언은 '예외, 예외 없이'라는 모토로 요약된다.[1]

위치 및 학생 수

이 학교는 Wetherby에서 약 4마일(6km) 떨어진 교외 및 반농촌 지역에 위치해 있다. 학교 공동체는 주로 백인 영국인 십대들이다. 가장 큰 소수 민족은 인도와 파키스탄이다. 웨스트오크스 학교 전문인포용학습센터는 학교 부지에 거점을 두고 학교가 지원하고 있어 양 학교의 학생들에게 긍정적인 경험과 기회를 제공할 수 있다.

이 학교는 2012년 5월 9일과 10일 오스테드에 의해 '공지 없음' 조종사로부터 전날 통보를 받았다. 성취도, 행동도, 안전도 등 4대 핵심 영역에서 각각 좋은 평가를 받은 2등급 '좋은 학교'로 판정됐다.[2]
