The Association des Scouts et Guides de Mauritanie (Arabic: جمعية الكشافة والمرشدات الموريتانية), the national Scouting organization of Mauritania, was founded in 1936,[1] became a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement in 1983, and is also an associate member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.Mauritanie 남녀공학 협회에는 2008년 현재 4,200명(스카우트 3,790명[2], 가이드 456명)의 회원이 있다.

이 프로그램은 이슬람의 원칙에 따라 7세에서 30세 사이의 젊은이들의 신체적, 지적, 도덕적, 시민적 형성을 강조한다.

스카우트의 모토는 아랍어로는 Kun Musta'iddan, 프랑스어로는 Be Prepared, Sois Prét, Be Prepared입니다.단일 스카우트의 명사는 아랍어로 Kashaf 또는 شف in in이다.
