북극 게이트웨이 그룹 LP는 처칠 항과 허드슨 만 철도를 소유·운영하는 제한적 파트너십으로, 더 파스와 매니토바주의 처칠을 연결한다.[3][4] 원래 민관 협력관계로 결성되었는데, 북부 매니토바 제1국과 지방 정부의 컨소시엄인 미시니피 레일사가 50%의 지분을 보유하고 있으며, 토론토에 본사를 둔 페어팩스 파이낸셜홀딩스와 레지나에 본사를 둔 곡물 회사인 AGT 푸드와 재료사이에 사적 몫이 분할되어 있었다.[5][6][7] 페어팩스와 AGT는 2021년 3월 북극관문 지분을 원노스(옛 미시니피 레일)에 양도해 북극관문은 지자체와 원주민 협력사가 완전히 소유하고 있다는 의미다.[2][8]

운영

2018년 11월 19일, AGT Food and Materials의 CEO인 무라드 알 카티브는 HBR을 따라 화물 운임이 시작되었으며, 11월 말까지 여객 서비스가 시작될 것으로 예상된다고 발표했다.[7] 수리된 HBR 노선을 따라 최초의 비아 레일 여객 열차 서비스는 2018년 12월 4일에 도착했다.[9]
