앵글라스피스는 멸종된 시타스피드형 헤테로스트라칸 불가지아과의 속이다.화석은 실루리아기 후기부터 초기 데본기에 멸종할 때까지 유럽의 해양 지층에서 발견된다.다른 시타스피드상과와 마찬가지로, 앵글라스피스 개체는 전신을 덮는 등판과 복판을 가지고 있었고, 아가미 주머니와 코구멍은 [1]구강 지붕에 놓여 있었다.

앵글라스피스의 후기 실루리아 종은 웨일스와 영국의 해양 지층에서 발견되며, 초기 데본기 종의 대부분은 [2][3]노르웨이 스발바르에 있는 스피츠베르겐 섬의 데본기 시대의 지층에서 발견됩니다.

분류법

앵글라스피스는 다양한 시기에 Cyathaspidididae, Poraspidididae,[4][5] 그리고 그 자신의 과인 Anglaspidididae로 분류되었다.현재 아리아스피스, 리스트라스피스와 함께 아리아스과(Ariaspis)[6]에 속하며, 백합, 패럴리아스피스의 시조는 아니더라도 밀접한 관련이 있는 것으로 여겨진다.
