All I Want는 뮤지션 Michelle Chamuel의 프로듀서 모니커인 The Reverb Junkie의 첫 솔로 스튜디오 앨범이다.[1]이 앨범은 자체 제작되어 2013년 9월 10일에 발매되었다.[2]이 앨범은 미국 댄스/일렉트로닉 앨범 차트에서 6위로 데뷔했다.[3]앨범 발매에 이어 앨범 타이틀곡 'All I Want' 뮤직비디오가 공개됐다.[4]음반 평론에서는 이 음악이 진보적이라고 했다.[5]

구성

샤무엘은 이 앨범을 '솔로 전자 프로젝트'라고 부르며 이전에 했던 어떤 앨범과도 사뭇 다르다고 말했다.[6]그녀는 작곡을 묘사하면서 다음과 같이 썼다.[7]

이번 앨범에서는 풀곡을 작사, 녹음한 다음 돌아가서 내가 좋아하는 부분인 중요한 단어/주문/기호/등만 골라서 그 부분만 남겼다.나는 내 목소리를 악기로 사용하고 그것이 낼 수 있는 다른 소리를 연주해야 했다.베이스, 피아노, 현악기, 신디사이저, 기타, 오르간, 글로켄스피엘에 멜로디를 썼다.나는 내 합창단처럼 행동했다.나는 드럼[...]을 프로그램해서 내가 원하는 대로 소리가 날 때까지 계속 쓰고 또 쓰고 또 쓰고, 더하고 또 빼앗았다.

이 곡들 중 세 곡의 독창적인 미작곡 데모는 12번에서 14번 트랙으로 발매되었다.남성 보컬은 차뮤엘이 전자적으로 처리한 음성이다.[8]차뮤엘은 앨범 발매 후 가진 인터뷰에서 "더 레버럽 정키는 창작 사운드 작품에 초점을 맞추고 있으며, 반드시 무대에서 공연하는 것은 아니다"라고 말했다.[9]그녀는 창조적인 과정을 새 층으로 멜로디가 추가되는 소리로 그림을 그리고 조각하는 것에 비유했다.앨범 이름에 대해 그녀는 "오랫동안 만들고 싶었던 것"[10]이 반영되었다고 말했다.
