알레프 북 컴퍼니(Aleph Book Company)는 인도의 출판사다. 루파출판사의 R. K. Mehra, Kapish Mehra와 연합하여 소설가, 출판사, 전 캐나다 펭귄북스 사장 데이비드다바르가 2011년 5월에 설립하였다. 그 회사의 본사는 뉴델리에 있다.
창세기
데이비드 다비다르는 캐나다에서 펭귄캐나다 사장을 지낸 인도에서 귀국하면서 루파출판사와 제휴해 2011년 5월 알레프 북컴퍼니를 설립했다.[1] 창간 당시 핵심 인물은 다비다르 외에 루파출판사의 R. K. 메흐라와 카피쉬 메흐라였다. 이 회사의 본사는 뉴델리에 있으며 로고는 많은 셈족 애브자드의 첫 글자인 알레프의 영감인 림 마산드에 의해 디자인되었다.[2]

이 회사는 소설과 비소설 모두를 출판하며, 로밀라 타파르, 샤시 타로르, 쿠슈완트 싱, 키루스 미스트리, 러스킨 본드, 라즈모한 간디, 비크람 세스 등 덜 알려진 작가부터 기성 작가까지 다양한 작가 프로필을 가지고 있다.[3] 인도 등 남아시아 국가를 중심으로 소설, 역사, 전기, 자서전, 시사, 보도, 여행, 여행, 대중과학, 미술, 음악, 자연학, 환경, 비즈니스, 번역, 철학, 사회학, 심리학, 대중문화 등 다양한 장르의 책을 출판한다.[4] 출판물 중 일부는 남아시아 문학상,[5] 사히타 아카데미상[6], 람나트 고엔카상 등 다양한 문학상을 받았다.[7] 이 책은 정기적으로 "The Book of Aleph"라는 제목으로 카탈로그를 출판한다.[8]
