Abrothallus welwitschii는 Abrothallaceae에 [2]속하는 지의류 버섯의 일종입니다.그것은 Sticta속의 잎이끼류 종에서 자랍니다.[3]모식표본은 원래 1840년 포르투갈에서 오스트리아의 식물학자 프리드리히 웰위치에 의해 수집되었고, 그 종의 이름이 그의 이름을 따서 지어졌습니다.카밀 몽테뉴는 [4]1851년에 그 종을 기술했지만, 그는 그 이름을 유효하게 출판하지 않았습니다; 그것은 1년 [5]후 찰스 툴라스네에 의해 유효하게 출판되었습니다.
