2016 Kuala Kangsar by-election

2016년 6월 5일 지명일에 이어 2016년 6월 18일 말레이시아 페라크 주에 위치한 의회 의석 P67 쿠알라 캉사르의 드완 라키아트 의석에 대한 보궐선거가 실시되었다.[1] 이 의석은 2016년 5월 5일 사라왁 주 선거 유세 도중 헬기 추락 사고로 숨진 완 모하마드 카이르일 아누아르 완 아흐마드 의원의 사망으로 공석이 됐다.[2] 2013년 총선에서 완 무함마드 카이르일 아누아르 완 아흐마드는 범말레이시아 이슬람당(PAS)의 칼릴 이담 림 압둘라 후보와 무소속 카밀리아 이브라힘 후보를 제치고 1082표를 얻어 의석을 차지했다.[3] 이번 보궐선거도 같은 이유로 선가이 베사르 보궐선거와 동시에 치러졌다.

쿠알라 캉사르의 바리산 나시오날 후보는 전 하원의원 완 무함마드 카이르-아누아르 완 아흐마드의 미망인 마스투라 모히드 야지드(UMNO) 의원이었다.[4][5] PAS 후보는 나지하투살레하 아마드 후보였다.[6] 야당 연합인 파카탄 하라판은 아흐마드 테르미지 람리 국가신탁당(AMANAA) 부의장을 후보로 선출했다.[7] 이자트 부하리 이스마일 부하리가 공천일에 인디펜던트로 입후보했다.[8]

결과.

마스투라 모히드 야지드는 다른 후보 3명을 제치고 6,969표 차로 바리산 나시오날 의석을 지켜냈다.[9][10]
