2014 Florida gubernatorial election2014년 플로리다 주지사 선거는 2014년 11월 4일 플로리다 주지사 및 부 주지사를 선출하기 위해 실시되었다.
현직 공화당원인 [1]릭 스콧은 재선에 출마했다. 민주당 후보는 찰리 크리스트 전 주지사로 스콧 전 주지사의 직속상관이었다. 크리스트는 2006년 공화당 소속으로 주지사로 선출됐지만 2010년 재선에 출마하지 않고 무소속으로 상원의원 출마를 선택했다. 자유당 후보인 Adrian Wyllie와 정당 소속이 없는 몇몇 후보들도 출마했다. 정치 전문가들은 그 경주를 토스 업으로 여겼다.

2014년 6월 초 현재, 스콧은 찰리 크리스트를 공격하는 텔레비전 광고에 3월 이후 거의 1300만 달러를 썼으며, 그는 당시 민주당 후보로 유력한 후보였다. 비록 그 광고가 경주를 강화시켰지만, 이것은 크리스트의 호감도가 떨어지면서 생겨났다. 반면 스콧의 호감도는 오르지 않았다.[117] 9월 말, 스콧의 텔레비전 광고 지출은 3,500만[118][119] 달러를 넘어섰고 10월 중순에 크리스트의 2,650만 달러와 비교하여 5,650만 달러에 달했다. 10월 22일, 스콧의 총 지출이 8300만 달러를 넘었다고 보고되었고 그는 이전에 그렇게 하지 않겠다고 말했었다. 그는 2200만 달러에 달하는 것으로 추측되는 캠페인에 자신의 돈을 투자할 것이라고 발표했다.[120]
