Ó Rothláin
OO 로트라인(/oʊ ˈroʊlɔːn/ oh-RO-lawn)은 아일랜드의 성이다. 그 이름은 "로틀란의 후예"라는 뜻의 패트론이다. o 라할라인, 즉 o 로할라이의 변종일 가능성이 제기된다.[1] 그것은 Rowlan, Rowland, Rowland, Rowland, Rolland, Rollan, Rollin, Rollan, Rowley라는 이름의 사전 허가된 아일랜드식 이름이다.[2][3] 그 이름은 또한 OO Rothlan, OO Rothlain, O'Rothlain, Rothlan, 그리고 Rothlan으로 표기될 수 있다.[4][5][6]

쿨카니 공국의 족장
두발타흐 맥 피르비히시는 1417년에 쓴 시에서 쿨카니가 "Beel Lasa (또는 Foxford)와 Castleconnor의 Brosnach 강 사이의 영토를 형성했다"[13]고 진술하고 있다. 윌리엄 그레고리 우드마틴은 가족영토에는 클루인 나 gcliabhrach(클루나글레아브라흐로 허가됨)[14]가 포함되어 있다고 썼다. 맥 피르비시는 "준비된 오로슬랭"을 쿨카니에 있는 네 명의 족장 중 한 명으로 묘사하며 그들이 "패스트라이프"였다고 말한다.[15] 쿨카니에게서 존 오도노반은 다음과 같이 말했다.

- o 로트라인이라는 이름은 1337년 코나흐트 연보(Annahla Cornacht) 1337.9에 다시 나타나 "오 로트레인 주님이 그리스도 안에서 쉬셨다"고 적혀 있다.[19] 이 같은 사건이 다시 사대부 연보 M1337.3에 "오 로트레인 마스터 교수가 죽었다"[20]고 등장한다.
- In 1340, during the reign of Edward III of England, it is stated that “O’Rothlain, chiefs of Coill Fothaidh, a district on the borders of Roscommon and Mayo; they are thus mentioned by O’Dugan: ‘O’Rothlain of Coill Fothaidh let us not omit, Chief of the whitestoned goblets and spears.’”[21]
