주니가 빙하는 베어 반도 서쪽의 제프리 헤드와 보드오니 산 사이에 있는 도트슨 빙붕으로 서북서쪽으로 흐르는 빙하, 월그린 코스트, 마리 버드 랜드. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from aerial photographs taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump in 1947 and U.S. Navy in 1966, it was named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) after Mike Zuniga” Iron Mike “, Chief Aviation Storekeeper, U.S. Navy, who made seven Deep Freeze deployments between 1960 and 1978.[1]
