요켄화이트(Yockenthuaite)는 영국 노스요크셔의 크레이븐 지구에 있는 햄릿이다.그것은 요크셔 달레스 국립공원의 랭스트로스데일 계곡에 있다.역사적으로 요크셔의 웨스트 라이딩의 일부였던 요크엔화이트는 스킵톤에서 북쪽으로 32km, 호이스에서 남쪽으로 13km 떨어져 있다.그 햄릿의 이름은 어한이 나무로 개간한 데서 유래했다고 한다.[1][2]

요켄화이트는 와르페 강의 북쪽 둑에 있다.로텐트롤스의 어린이 텔레비전 캐릭터가 그 이름을 햄릿에서 따오기 때문에 그것은 예상할 수 있는 것보다 더 잘 알려져 있다.[3]

요켄트화이트 동굴 바로 옆 마을 서쪽에는 고대의 돌들이 둥글게 배열되어 있다.[6][7]현재 예정된 기념비가 된 이 돌들은 지름이 7.6m로 청동기 시대의 것으로 추정된다.[8][9]돌의 전체적인 크기와 배치는 거인의 무덤이라는 별명을 갖게 했다.그 돌들 중 일부는 가져가서 건석 벽과 건물들에 다시 사용되었다.[10]

스피트는 이곳을 '드루이드의 원'이라고 하며, 지금까지 돌원이라고 표현되어 왔지만,[11] 고리 사공이라고 여겨진다.23개의 돌이 남아 있는 동안, 원 안에 3~4개의 돌을 더 넣을 수 있는 공간이 있는데, 이 공간은 제거되었다.[12]
