울피포리아는 폴리포라과에 속하는 곰팡이속이다.1984년 Leif Ryvarden과 Robert Lee Gilbertson에 의해 Wolfiporia cocos(현재는 Wolfiporia extensta로 알려져 있음)와 W. dilatohypha를 포함하는 것으로 제한되었다.이 속은 공식적으로 [1]모식종을 기술한 최초의 균학자 프레드릭 아돌프 울프를 기리기 위해 붙여졌다.
