백두 추측

화이트헤드 추측(Whitehead aspericity uspecture)은 대수적 위상에서의 주장이다.그것은 J. H. C.에 의해 공식화되었다. 1941년 화이트헤드.그것은 2차원 비구체 CW 복합체의 연결된 모든 서브 콤플렉스는 비구체적이라고 말한다.

A group presentation ${\displaystyle G=(S\mid R)}$ is called aspherical if the two-dimensional CW complex ${\displaystyle K(S\mid R)}$ associated with this presentation is aspherical or, equivalently, if ${\displaystyle \pi _{2}(K(S\mid R))=0}$. The Whitehead conjecture is equi비구체적 프레젠테이션의 모든 하위 항목이 비구체적이라는 추측에 발렌타인.

1997년에 Mladen Bestvina와 Noel Brady는 G그룹을 구성하여 G가 Eilenberg-Ganea 추측에 대한 백범본이거나, Whitehead 추측에 대한 백범본이 있어야 한다. 즉, 두 추측이 모두 사실일 수는 없다.
