드랍은 어디 있지?(낙하산 어디쯤으로 치부되는가?)는 캐나다의 전자음악 프로듀서 데드마우5의 관현악 편찬 음반이다.[3][4][5]이 앨범은 그레고리 리비렛과 협력하여 그의 이전 작품의 재상상된 관현악 편곡으로 구성되어 있다.[6][7]Mau5trap을 통해 발매되었으며, 초기에는 2018년 3월 30일 음악 스트리밍 서비스인 "Daune"에서 독점적으로 발매되었다.[8]이 앨범은 2018년 6월 29일 다른 디지털 다운로드 서비스와 비닐로 발매되었다.[9][10]2019년 10월 4일 Here's the Drop!라는 제목의 다양한 다른 아티스트들의 트랙을 리믹스한 리믹스 앨범이 발매되었다.[11]

배경

2018년 3월 데드마우5의 음반사 마우5트랩이 앨범 발매를 발표하면서 "실시간 오케스트라 프로젝트[데드마우5]가 작곡가 그레고리 리비렛과 함께 작업해오고 있다"[12]고 설명했다.또한 이번 앨범은 7대 죄악에 바탕을 둔 데드마우5의 2013년 EP 7편과 함께 조엘 짐머만의 전작의 관현악 커버, 미공개 작품들이 수록되어 있다는 점도 주목받았다.[13][6]짐머맨은 리비렛과 트위치 리브스트림에서 "모우5트랩 월요일" 세션에서 만난 적이 있다.[14][15]

이 앨범의 발매는 2018년 4월 1일 로스앤젤레스 더 윌턴에서 열린 CMG 뮤직 레코딩 오케스트라의 라이브 공연으로도 지원되었다.이 라이브 공연은 조일 앱과 웹사이트를 통해 생중계되었다.[13][16][17]그 전날인 2018년 3월 31일, "Where's the Drop?"의 두 번째 라이브 이벤트가 추가되었다.[18][19][20]

해제
