역사

WCME는 1955년 12월 16일 웨스트민스터 방송사의 소유하에 서명했다.[5][6][7]중앙 메인 방송국은 1964년에 이 방송국을 인수했고,[8] 1965년 4월 11일 98.9 FM에 자매 방송국을 출범시켰다.[6]WCME 방송국은 1969년 WCME 주식회사에,[9] 1972년 콘딧 방송사에 매각되었다.[10]

1998년 리버사이드 방송은 WCLZ 방송국을 풀러-제프리 방송에 매각했으며 리버사이드의 사장 마이크 와고너는 회사의 현지 소유권을 거론했다.[28]브런즈윅 출신인 공동소유주 J J 제프리 씨는 WCME에서 활동을 시작했다.[29]그 해 12월 방송국은 WJJB로 콜레터를 변경했고,[30] WCLZ-FM 시뮬캐스트로 잠시 복귀한 후 1999년 스포츠 스테이션 WJE의 모사극이 되었다.[31][32]풀러-제프리는 몇 달 후 시타델 방송에 FM 방송국을 팔았지만 JJ 제프리는 WJE와 WJB를 그의 애틀랜틱 코스트 라디오 그룹의 첫 방송국으로 유지했다.[33][34]
