UFC Performance Institute는 미국 프로모션 UFC(Ultimate Fighting Championship)를 위한 공식 이종격투기(MMA) 시설이다.[2] 이 건물은 UFC 에이펙스 맞은편 네바다주 엔터프라이즈에 위치해 있으며, 회사 본사의 역할을 하고 있다.[3][4]

역사

이 연구소는 2017년 5월 개관했으며, 세계 최초로 혁신과 연구, 훈련을 위한 종합격투기센터다.[1][5][6][7]

이 센터에는 NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB 선수뿐만 아니라 무려 400명의 MMA 선수들이 방문했다.[8]

2019년 6월 중국 상하이에 두 번째 시설이 문을 열었다. 이 시설의 정식 명칭은 UFC Performance Institute 상하이(上海)이다.[9] 그것은 올림픽 경기를 위해 중국에서 온 선수들을 훈련시키는데 사용되어 왔다.[10]
