고등학교 진로

겐트리는 그랜드뷰 고등학교(콜로라도 주 오로라 주)에서 고교 미식축구 선수로 뛰었는데, 덴버 포스트에서 올콜로라도 팀으로 모든 분류에 뽑혔고, 퍼스트 팀 올스테이트 클래스 5A는 시니어 시절인 2012년 와이드 리시버로 뽑혔다.

대학진로

고등학교를 졸업한 젠트리는 Rivals.com에 의해 콜로라도주에서 15위, 콜로라도주에서는 247Sports.com에 의해 23위에 랭크되었다.
