역사
남페루는 1873년에 평지화되었다.[3]이 공동체는 페루에서 와바시 강을 가로지르는 위치로부터 그렇게 이름이 붙여졌다.[4]1887년까지, 남 페루는 제재소, 몇 개의 가게, 양조장, 그리고 몇 개의 살롱을 가지고 있었다.[5]
남페루는 1914년에 페루에 합병되었다.[6]
지리
남페루는 워싱턴 타운쉽의 북부에 위치하고 있으며, 와바시 강에 의해 페루 시와 분리되어 있다.
