식스 앤 과달루페는 텍사스 오스틴 다운타운에 건설 중인 66층짜리 주상복합 마천루입니다.2022년 11월 2일, 이 건물은 인디펜던트를 제치고 오스틴에서 가장 높은 건물이 되었습니다.[1]이 타워는 2023년에 완공되어 인도될 예정입니다.

역사

1925년에 알라모 호텔이라고 불리는 붉은 벽돌로 된 5층짜리 호텔이 그 자리에 지어졌습니다.한동안 이 호텔은 린든 B 대통령의 동생인 샘 휴스턴 존슨의 집이었습니다. 존슨.[2]알라모 호텔은 록 더 카스바와 판초와 레프티의 뮤직비디오에도 잠깐 등장했고, 배우 해리 앤더슨의 예전 발을 동동 굴렀던 곳이기도 [3][4]합니다.[5]1984년 알라모 호텔은 당시 오스틴에서 두 번째로 높은 건물이었을 라마 파이낸셜 플라자(Lamar Financial Plaza)라는 27층짜리 복합용도 오피스 호텔을 위해 철거되었습니다.[6][7][8]하지만 저축 및 대출 위기 속에서 이 계획들은 폐기되었습니다.[9]

1998년 알라모 호텔의 이전 자리는 논란 속에 97개의 객실을 갖춘 익스텐디드 스테이 아메리카로 대체되었습니다.[10]2019년 익스텐디드 스테이 아메리카는 철거되었고 현재 건물의 지반이 부서졌습니다.[1]2021년 12월 31일, 메타는 임대 가능한 사무실 공간 18개 층을 모두 차지하는 임대 계약을 체결했지만,[11] 2022년 11월 3일, 메타 대변인은 수익 감소를 고려하여 메타가 임대 계약한 사무실 공간을 대신 전대할 것이라고 말했습니다.[12]2023년 4월 5일 킴벌 머스크가 식스와 과달루페에 레스토랑을 열기 위해 임대 계약을 체결한 것으로 밝혀졌습니다.[13]

2층부터 12층까지는 1,626대의 주차 공간과 50개의 전기 자동차 충전소가 있으며, 14층부터 32층까지는 58만 9,000 평방 피트의 사무실 공간이 있으며, 34층부터 66층까지는 349대의 주거용 유닛이 있습니다.[14]

이 건물의 독특한 각진 모양은 텍사스 캐피톨 뷰 코리더[15](#8, 라 카사 드라이브의 사우스 라마) 덕분입니다.[16]
