셰이크(소말리: 셰이크(Sheekh, 아랍어: شَيخ)는 시이크(Siikh)라고도 하며 소말릴란드 사힐[2] 북서부에 있는 마을이다. 부라오에서 북쪽으로 70km 떨어진 곳에 위치해 있다. 이 도시는 소말리스에게 가장 유명하고 역사적인 장소 중 하나이다. 교육의 장이자 문명의 도시다.

개요

이 도시에는 하바르 아왈의 잇사 무스 하위 클랜의 모하메드 이스사 하위 구역 출신들이 거주하고 있다. 소말릴랜드의 다른 많은 지역과 마찬가지로 셰이크는 수많은 역사적 구조로 유명하다. 이 마을에서 발견된 고대 사원은 남아시아의 데칸 고원과 유사하다고 한다.[3]

셰이크 구는 총 13만3625명의 주민을 보유하고 있다.[4]
