Sh2-7은 전갈자리 별자리에 있는 방출 성운이다.그 성운은 델타 전갈자리 주위에 있다.그것은 큰 반사 성운인 Sh2-1 옆에 있다.[1]
은하계 후광을 겨냥한 인터스텔라 자기포라는 논문에 따르면. Ophiuchus와 Lupus 분자 콤플렉스의 기원에 있는 젊은 거품인 HII 지역 Sh2-7은 GCS의 양극화를 변화시키는 패러데이 스크린 역할을 하고 있을 것이다.
