새뮤얼 딘스무어(Samuel Dinsmoor, 1766년 7월 1일 ~ 1835년 3월 15일)는 뉴햄프셔 출신의 미국인 교사, 변호사, 은행가, 정치가였다.뉴햄프셔 14대 주지사, 미 하원 의원을 지냈다.

초년기

1766년 뉴햄프셔주 윈덤에서 태어난 딘스무어는 윌리엄과 엘리자베스(코흐란) 딘스무어의 아들이다.[1]1789년 다트머스 대학을 졸업하고 [2]교사로 근무하며 법률을 공부한 뒤 변호사 자격을 얻었다.그는 1808년 뉴햄프셔의 킨에 법률 관례를 제정하여 우체국장으로 임명되었다.[3]그는 Keene 경보병의 조직화를 도왔고 보병 지휘관이었다.[4]

정치 경력

민주공화당원으로 선출된 딘스무어는 1811년 3월 4일부터 1813년 3월 3일까지 12차 의회 동안 미국 하원에서 뉴햄프셔를 대표했다.[5]딘스무어는 1820년 대통령 선거인으로, 1821년 뉴햄프셔 주지사회에서 일했다.[6]그는 1825년 매사추세츠와 뉴햄프셔 사이의 경계선을 협상하고 설정하는 위원회 위원이었다.[7]또한 1823년부터 1831년까지 뉴햄프셔 주 법원 판사를 지냈다.[8]

사생활

딘스무어는 1723년 넛필드에 정착한 로버트와 마가렛 딘스무어의 손자였다.1798년 그는 조지 리드 장군과 몰리(우드번) 리드의 딸인 메리 보이드 레이드와 결혼했다.[18]
