샘포드 농어촌 지구는 1894년부터 1974년 사이에 이스트 서폴크의 행정 카운티 내에 있는 농촌 지구였다.그것은 이전의 샘포드 시골 위생 지구에서 만들어졌다.[1]그것은 삼포드의 역사적인 백개의 이름을 따서 명명되었는데, 그 경계는 삼포드의 경계와 매우 일치한다.
1934년의 동서포크 군 검토령에 따라 유일하게 변경된 것은 입스위치 군 자치구와의 경계 개정이었다.이 경계는 1952년에 다시 개정되었다.
1972년 지방정부법에 따라 1974년 삼포드 농촌지구가 폐지되었고, 그 지역은 바베르크 지구의 일부가 되었다.
