Secure Internet Protocol Router Network(SIPRNet)는 미국 국방부와 국무부가 '완전 안전한'[1] 환경에서 패킷 교환을 통해 기밀 정보(최대 기밀 정보 포함)를 전송하기 위해 사용하는 상호 연결된 컴퓨터 네트워크의 시스템입니다.또한 하이퍼텍스트 문서 액세스 및 전자 메일과 같은 서비스를 제공합니다.따라서 SIPRNet은 국방부의 기밀 버전인 민간 인터넷입니다.
