리처드 하이랜드
Richard Hyland리차드 하이랜드는 미국의 작가 겸 법률학자다.그는 러트거스 로스쿨의 캠든 캠퍼스의 법학 교수로, 특히 상품 판매와 국제 무역의 법칙을 전문으로 하고 있다.[1]
2009년 5월, 옥스포드 대학 출판부는 선물을 주는 법을 지배하는 하이랜드의 광범위한 비교 조사인 "선물: 비교법에 관한 연구"를 발간했다.[1]이 책은 이 주제의[2] 역사적 배경을 탐구하고 또한 다양한 관습법과 사법 제도에 따라 선물을 주는 것을 다루고 있다.[3]
그 책은 현장에서 널리 검토되어 찬사를 받았다.독일의 대표적인 법률 이론 및 실천 잡지인 NJW(New Juristische Wochenschrift, New Lawal Weekly)는 올해의 8개 법률 서적 중 하나로 '선물'을 선정했다.하이랜드는 선물 외에도 두 권의 교과서와 많은 학술지 기사를 공동 집필했다.[1]
하이랜드는 폭넓은 법률교육과 명예, 경험 외에도 2001년 컬럼비아대에서 소설학 석사 학위를 취득하고 문학비평을 썼으며 학부 시절이던 1960년대 후반 하버드의 파란만장한 세월을 다룬 책을 위해 인터뷰를 진행하고 있다.[4][5]
