그clade Whippomorpha에 반수생 digitigrade artiodactyls의 Raoellidae, 이전에 Helohyidae 내에 모였다 아주 폐가. raoellids의 화석은 남한과 동남 아시아의 에오세. 지층에서 발견된다.
인도히우스의 카슈미르의 한 예외적으로 완전한 해골이 raoellids 있는"멸실환"여동생 그룹(고래류)whales에 제안했다.[2] 이 두 집단의 다른 모든 우제류와 친척이다. δO18 가치와osteosclerotic 뼈는raccoon-like 인도히우스 습관적으로 수생었음을 나타낸다. 땅이나 물 속에서 만약 인도히우스 주로 먹이 하지만, 아직도 불확실하다. 그것은 고래목의 동물 조상들 인도히우스고 나중에 완전히 수상 생활에 적응해 비슷한 문제로 진화해서다.
