폴리티저 기교 또는 방법이라고도 하는 폴리티저술은 삼키는 행위를 하는 동안 코에 공기를 불어 넣어 중이염을 부풀리는 것을 수반하는 의학적 시술이다.유스타치안 관을 다시 열고 시누스의 압력을 균등화하기 위해 수행되는 경우가 많다.
