포인트 웨이랜드는 남호주 에레 반도 서쪽 해안에 위치한 헤드랜드로, 비너스 베이 시의 서남서쪽 약 4km(2.5마일), 엘리스턴 시의 북서쪽 약 51km(32마일)이다. 안심만 내에 위치한 지점은 금성만 개방부의 남쪽 끝이다. 이 지점은 한 정보원에 의해 " 89m(292ft) 높이의 눈에 띄는 절벽 지점이며, 금성만 입구의 S[outh] W[est]에 가깝게 서 있다" "96m(315ft), N[정식]에 가깝고 비너스만을 향한 내륙의 경사"라고 설명된다. 1802년 2월 10일 매튜 플린더스에 의해 이름이 붙여졌다. 이 지점은 1977년부터 금성만 보존공원의 경계 내에 있었고, 해안선과 인접한 해역은 2012년부터 서해안 베이즈 해양공원의 서식지 보호 구역 내에 있었다.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
