필립 아그레
Philip Agre필립 E. 아그레는 AI 연구원으로 변신한 인문학 교수로, 과거 로스앤젤레스 캘리포니아대 교수 출신이다.그는 기술에 대한 비평으로 유명하다.[1]그는 연속적으로 The Network Observer (TNO)와 The Red Rock Eater News Service (RRE)의 출판사였다.TNO는 1994년 1월부터 1996년 7월까지 운영되었다.그가 1990년대 중반에 시작한 영향력 있는 메일링 리스트인 RRE는 약 10년간 운영되었다.뉴스, 인터넷 정책, 정치가 혼합된 RRE는 오늘날의 많은 정치 블로그와 온라인 뉴스레터의 모델이 되었다.

실종
2009년 10월 16일, 아그레의 여동생이 아그레를 위해 실종 신고를 했다.[5]그녀는 2008년 봄 이후 그를 보지 못했고 그가 2008년 12월부터 2009년 5월 사이에 아파트와 직장을 그만둔 것을 알게 되자 걱정하게 되었다고 말했다.[5]아그레는 2010년 1월 16일 LA 카운티 보안관실에 의해 발견되었으며, 건강과 자급자족으로 간주되었다.[6]
