파소데스는 나방과의 나방속이다.2018년 현재[update], 단종이며, 유일한 종인 Passodes vitiensis로 구성되어 있으며, 이 종은 매우 가변적이다.피지와 [4]사모아에서 발견된다.생명 주기는 알려지지 않았지만 애벌레는 식물이나 부패한 [5]물질의 뿌리를 먹고 사는 것으로 추정된다.
분류학적 역사
영국의 곤충학자 조지 토마스 베순 베이커는 1905년에 처음으로 파소드속(Passodes)을 제한했다.그는 6종을 포함했는데, 모두 같은 [1]작품에서 묘사했다.1950년, 프랑스 곤충학자 피에르 비에테는 Bethune-Baker의 P. nausori와 P. [6]vitiensis를 동의어로 삼았다;[3] P. vitiensis는 1895년에 Walter Rothschild에 의해 처음 기술되었다.
