서머셋 주의 사우스스토크에 있는 팩호스 인은 1674년에 크게 재건된 2급 건물이다.[1]19세기에 농가에서 펍으로 바뀌었지만 2012년에 문을 닫았다.지역 캠페인은 공동체가치의 자산으로 지정되어 그것을 개조하기 위해 기금을 모았다.그 펍은 2018년 3월에 재개장했다.

역사

건축 연대는 알 수 없지만 농가로 존재했다.1674년 정문을 넘어 돌로 날짜를 새기면서 재건되었다.이 마을의 또 다른 건물은 이전에는 "팩호스 여관"[3]으로 알려져 있었지만,[2] 19세기 중반에 펍이 되었다.1939년 면허소지자는 에밀리 로즈 부인이었다.[4]그 여관은 조지 맥주가 소유하고 있었다.[5]

2012년 펍으로 문을 닫았고, 민가로 변모하기 위한 계획서가 제출되면서 매각되었다.[6]지역 주민들이 펍을 살리기 위해 지역 주민들에 의해 선동된 캠페인이 있으며, 그들은 바스와 북동부 서머셋 의회가 펍을 지역사회 가치의 자산으로 지정하기 위해 성공적으로 캠페인을 벌였다.[7]이것은 2011년 지역주의 법에 따른 개발로부터[8] 어느 정도 보호를 제공한다.[9]

건축

2층 석조 건물에는 프리스톤 보우인(frestone coinsin)과 기와지붕이 있다.그 유명한 기숙사에는 특징이 들어 있다.건물 아래에는 지하실이 있다.[1]20명을 수용할 수 있는 탭룸과 넓은 정원과 함께 다른 20명을 위한 라운지 바가 있다.[14]
