중립적인 건설 단위 또는 중립적인 통화 단위(코드: NUC)는 항공업계가 요금 계산 정보를 기록하기 [1]위해 사용하는 사설 통화다.[2]국제항공운송협회(IATA)[3]가 매달 환율 세트를 발행한다.항공권 구성요소 가격은 (여행 개시 국가의) 원래 통화에서 전환되어 항공권에 기록된다.[4]

NUC 시스템은 1989년 7월 1일 이전 "요금 건설 단위"[4] 시스템을 대체하면서 시작되었다.2008년 현재, NUC는 여행의 COC에 의존한다.통화가 강세를 보이는 나라마다 IROE(IATA환율)도 있다.[5]

이전에 유럽 철도 산업에서 사용되었던 유사한 단위는 UIC Franc(XFU)이다.

Neutral Unit of Construction (NUC) The basis of air fare calculations established by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), replaced the Fare Construction Unit (FCU) on 1 July 1989. In the new system individual amounts in local currencies are converted to NUC by the use of NUC conversion factors, and the total NUC amount is converted back to the local currency of sale. The conversion factors are normally adjusted four times a year.
