Netscape Application Server

Netscape Web Server는 웹 상에서 트랜잭션 지향 비즈니스 애플리케이션을 개발하고 실행하기 위한 통합 소프트웨어 플랫폼이었다.원래 넷스케이프가 1997년 인수한 키바소프트웨어가 개발했다.

1999년 Netscape와 Sun Microsystems가 Sun-Netscape Alliance를 결성했을 때, Netscape Web Server는 1998년 Sun이 인수한 NetDynamics Application Server를 통해 iPlanet Application Server를 제공하는 근거로 선택되었다.[1][2]
