레이크 뷰 빌딩으로도 알려진 시 법원 건물은 116 S에 위치한 초고층 빌딩입니다.일리노이 주 시카고의 미시건 애비뉴.이 건물은 1906년부터 1907년까지 시카고 지방법원의 임시 거처 역할을 하기 위해 지어졌다.Jacob L. Kesner는 원래 12층 높이로 불과 40피트(12m) 폭의 땅에 건물을 지었습니다. Kesner는 시카고 시 법원에 단기 임대를 기꺼이 허락한 몇 안 되는 부동산 소유자 중 한 명입니다.이 건물은 계획보다 늦게 완공됐고, 약속보다 평방피트가 적게 들었고, 창고에서 나온 경쟁사 제안보다 임대료가 비싸 에드워드 던 시장이 건물 계약 승인에 대한 윤리 조사를 벌이게 됐다.법정은 1911년까지 그 건물을 사용했을 뿐이다; 건물이 이전한 후, 케스너는 [2]그 건물에 5층을 더 증축했다.
