모데라

Modhera

모데라는 인도 구자라트의 메흐사나 지구에 있는 마을이다. 이 마을은 차울루키아 시대의 선사로 잘 알려져 있다. 그 마을은 푸시파바티 강둑에 위치해 있다.[1]

역사

모데라 선 템플

이 마을은 청라시대에 다르마라냐로 알려져 있었다. 라마 경은 브라만 라바나를 죽인 죄를 씻기 위해 이곳에서 야냐를 행한 것으로 여겨진다. 그는 후에 모데라로 알려진 모데라크를 지었다.[1] 선사는 1026-1027년(비크람삼바트 1083) 차우루키아 왕조의 비마 1세 때 건립되었다.[2][3][1]

16-17세기에 속한 마을에는 계안화리가 있다. 계단 끝의 제1정자에 사당을 두고 있다.[4]
