소렌티노 감독은 2009년부터 2012년까지 활동한 저지 쇼어의 출연진이었다.소렌티노 감독은 하워드 스턴쇼, 코난 오브라이언과 함께하는 투나잇쇼, 제이 레노쇼, 로페즈 투나잇, 스포츠네이션, 첼시 최근, 엘렌 드제너레스쇼, 코난 등 TV시리즈에 게스트로 출연했다.

소렌티노 감독은 뉴저지의 한 해변에서 한 소녀가 남자친구와 함께 걷다가 복근을 칭찬하면서 '사정'이라는 별명을 얻었다.소녀의 남자친구는 그녀가 다른 남자를 칭찬하는 것에 화가 났고, 소렌티노의 친구는 그의 복근이 부부 사이에 '상황'을 일으키고 있다고 농담을 했다.[41]
