는 민물 환경에서 지금의 중국 초기 백악기 시대 때 살았던 Mesoclupea showchangensis는 멸종된 ichthyodectiform ray-finned 물고기이다.그것은 그것의 자매 종, Chuhsiungichthys,에서는 근본적으로 더posteriorly-placed 등 지느러미를 가짐으로써 다르다.
