매튜 토마스 쉬(Matthew Thomas Shea, 1974년 4월 18일 출생)는 극우 기독교 민족주의 미국인 변호사, 목사, 정치인이다.공화당 출신인 그는 2009년부터 2021년까지 워싱턴 하원에서 제4대 입법구를 대표했다.워싱턴 하원이 발간한 2019년 보고서는 셰아가 연방당국과 일련의 대치 상황에서 자신의 역할과 관련해 국내 테러리즘을 고발했다.[1][2]

논란

2011년 밥 맥캐슬린 워싱턴주 상원의원을 경질하는 과정의 일환으로 쉐아에 대한 배경 정보에는 쉐아 입법부에서 분노 폭발이 일어났고, 그가 이라크에 복무하던 중 분노 관리 문제로 지휘관에게 무장해제당했다는 주장이 포함됐다.[32]셰아가 스포캔 카운티 공화당 집행위원회의 승인을 받았음에도 불구하고, 카운티 위원들은 사업가 제프 백스터를 선출했다.[33][34]

"성경적 전쟁근거" 선언문
