코트패드는 인도 오디샤 주의 코라푸트 지역에 있는 마을이자 고시 지역 위원회다.코트패드에서 가장 가까운 역은 동해안 철도의 일부인 코트패드 로드 역이다.
코트패드는 새리와 한덤 제품이 유명하다.코트패드 한들룸(Kotpad Handloom)은 코라푸트(Kotpad) 마을의 미르간(Mirgan) 공동체의 부족이 만든 식물성 다이드 원단이다.
최근 코트패드는 비스와나트 라스 감독의 영화 '코트패드 위빙: 시간과의 경주 이야기'로 주목을 받았다.
인구통계학
2001년[update] 인도 인구조사를 기준으로 코트패드의 인구는 14,914명이다.[1]남성은 인구의 50%, 여성은 50%를 차지한다.코트패드는 평균 문해율이 59%로 전국 평균 59.5%보다 낮으며, 남성의 문해율이 68%, 여성의 문해율이 50%에 이른다.코트패드에서는 인구의 13%가 6세 미만.!!

Current MLA from Kotpad Assembly Constituency is Padmini Dian[2] of BJD . The previous MLA from Kotpad Assembly Constituency is Chandrasekhar Majhi of INC, He is the brother of Basudev Majhi who won the seat in State elections in 2009 and also in 2004, 2000, 1995, 1985, 1980 (as candidate of INC(I)) and 1977.
