칼리아(아랍어: الليعة)는 레바논 남부의 마르제윤 구에 있는 마을이다.주민은 주로 마로나이트 기독교인들이다.
이름
E. H. 팔머에 따르면, 그 이름은 "작은 성"이라는 뜻이다.[1]
역사
1838년, 일라이 스미스는 클라이아의 인구를 마론 사람으로 주목했다.[2]
1870년 빅터 게린은 그 마을에 마론 사람 400명이 살고 있다는 것을 발견했다.[3]
1881년, PEF의 서팔레스타인 조사(SWP)는 "돌로 지어진 마을로, 약 50명의 기독교인들이 살고 있다; 그곳은 교회를 포함하고 있고, 산등성이에 위치해 있으며, 포도밭, 올리브, 무화과, 경작지가 주변에 있다; 근처에 버켓과 봄을 가지고 있다"[4]라고 묘사했다.버켓은 물 웅덩이라는 것을 주의하라.
