존 에어리
John Airey존 무어 콜 에어리(John Moore Cole Airey,c. 1811년 ~ 1893년 [1]7월 17일)는 오스트레일리아 식민지 시대의 정치인으로, 1847년부터 [2]1848년까지 뉴사우스웨일스 입법회의 의원이었다.
에이레이는 [3]런던에서 조지 에이레이 경과 혼 부부의 둘째 아들로 태어났다.캐서린 탤벗, 마가렛 오라일리 탤벗의 딸, 말라히데의 [4]제1대 탤벗 남작 부인그의 형은 제1대 남작인 리처드 에이레이 경이었고 그의 막내 동생은 제임스 탤벗 에이레이 경이었다.영국 해군의 장교였던 그는 1821년 1월 1일 해군에 입대하여 1829년 [5]5월 13일 중위가 되었다.그는 아프리카 기지의 메디나 강에서 복무했고 나중에 지중해에서 복무했다.그는 [5]1837년에 영국으로 돌아왔다.
에어리는 [2][6]1847년 12월 22일 포트필립의원으로 뉴사우스웨일스 입법회의 의원으로 선출되어 1848년 [7][8]3월 22일 취임하였다.이전 좌석 점유자였던 존 던모어 랭은 불참으로 [6][9]자리를 비웠다.
빅토리아에 있는 에어리스 인렛은 [10]1842년에 이 지역에 정착한 존 에어리의 이름을 따서 지어졌다.
Airey는 포르투갈의 Viconde de Airey가 되었고 1893년 [1]7월 17일 리스본에서 사망했다.
