자그시어 조시
Jagdish JoshiJagdish Joshi(Jagdish Joshi, 1937년~2016년 출생)는 인도의 아동 도서 삽화가다.[1][2] 1937년 생으로 인도예술대학 드래프트술, 덤덤, 콜카타에서 미술을 공부했으며, 이후 힌두스탄타임스와 아동도서신탁에서 일했다.[3] 그는 또한 National Book Trust를 위한 몇 권의 책을 삽화했으며, 1990년대까지 인도 아동문학에서 "가장 많이 찾는" 삽화가들 중 한 명으로 남아 있었다.[4]
1998년 '어린이문학 노벨상'으로 불리는 한스 크리스티안 안데르센상 후보에 올랐던 그는 국제청년도서위원회(IBBY)가 '어린이문학에 대한 지속적인 공헌'을 인정받아 격년제로 수여하는 국제상이다.[5][6]
