국제의약품제조협회연맹(IFPMA)은 전 세계 90개 이상의 혁신적인 제약회사와 협회를 대표하는 무역 협회입니다.IFPMA는 제네바에 기반을 두고 있으며, UN과[2] 공식적인 관계를 맺고 있으며, 세계 보건 논의에 업계 전문성을 기여하고 있습니다.
1968년에 결성되었으며, 스위스 제네바에 본부를 두고 있습니다.[3]
2019년 IFPMA는 강화된 윤리강령과[4] 전문가 기준을 발표했습니다.[5]법전 개정 중에는 의료인에게 제공되는 선물에 대한 금지도 포함되어 있습니다.[6]Ethoscope[7](Ethoscope)는 코드 개정에 이어 개발된 다양한 지침을 포함하는 오픈 소스, 지속적으로 진화하는 리소스입니다.
제약 산업은 지속가능한 개발 목표(SDGs), 특히 목표 3에 기여하여 모든 연령대의 건강한 삶을 보장하고 웰빙을 촉진합니다.[8]현재 35개 이상의 IFPMA 회원사가 학계, 개발 조직, NGO, 재단 및 기타 비즈니스 부문과 협력하는 SDG 이니셔티브에 자원과 노하우를 제공하고 있습니다.의료 시스템을 강화하고 양질의 의료 서비스 접근을 확대하기 위한 250개 이상의 협업이 있습니다.[10]
IFPMA는 세계 보건 공동체의 다른 구성원들과 협력하여 보편적 건강 보장(UHC) 목표를 달성하고 누구도 그들이 필요로 하는 의료 서비스를 받는 데 뒤쳐지지 않는 세상에 기여합니다.[11]공공 부문과 민간 부문에 걸친 광범위한 이해 관계자들은 필수 의약품의 경제성과 접근성, 그리고 비용은 저렴하지만 효과적인 개입과 선별을 증가시키기 위해 더욱 긴밀히 협력할 수 있는 기회를 갖게 됩니다.[12]
