휴머 빌딩은 일리노이주 하이랜드 파크에 있는 1894 셰리던 로드에 있는 역사적인 상업 건물입니다.1926년에 지어진 이 건물은 1층에 두 개의 소매 공간과 2층에 사무실 공간이 있다.프랭크 로이드 라이트의 전 직원인 건축가 존 S. 반 버겐이 프레리 스쿨 건물을 설계했다.Van Bergen은 같은 스타일로 많은 집을 설계했지만, 상업용 건물에서는 일반적으로 사용되지 않았고, Humer Building의 디자인은 시카고 북부 교외의 상업용 건물들 중에서 독특하다.이 건물은 리본 창문, 안쪽에 기하학적 디자인, 계단에 무늬가 있는 유리를 갖추고 있는데, 모두 전형적인 프레리 스쿨 [2][3]요소들이다.
